State Competitive Marksmanship Coordinator

MAJ John Suprynowicz is a graduate of Basic Training, Advanced Infantry Training, the Infantry Officer Basic Course (Honor Graduate), the Maneuver Captains Career Course (MCCC), and the Command General Staff College (CGSC - ILE).

He served on Active Duty as a Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) from 1992 through 1996 prior to serving with the Pennsylvania National Guard as an NCO & Officer. MAJ Suprynowicz has held numerous positions to include two Company Command Positions. He currently serves as the State Competitive Marksmanship Coordinator (SCMC) for the
Texas Army National Guard.

Major Deployments include (but are not limited to) the following: Operation Restore Hope-Mogadishu, Somalia //Ocean Adventure, Atlantic Ocean //Operation Fire Creek, Oman //Operation Restore - Uphold Democracy, Haiti // Operation Iraqi Freedom (x2), Iraq.

NATIONAL MATCH COORDINATOR

COL Donald R. Tryce, has been involved in competitive shooting for over 35 years. His first assignment was OIC of the 5th Army Rifle Team at Fort Riley, Kansas followed by a tour with the All Army Rifle Team at Fort Benning, GA. His other marksmanship assignments included State Marksmanship Coordinator (SMC) for the Arizona National Guard, OIC 5th Army National Guard Rifle Team, SMC for the Texas National Guard, OIC of the All Guard International Shotgun Team and OIC for the All Guard Service Rifle Team. He is member of the Governor’s Twenty and is Distinguished Rifleman and Pistol Shot. COL Tryce is currently a member of the Texas State Guard and is actively involved in all of the TXMF marksmanship programs. His expertise is primarily in the national match rifle and pistol program.
