06-08 June 03 GRANDFIELD, OK - SFC Pete Carpentier Jr. and SPC Alan K. Donaldson shot the Sniper Country Sniper Quest match that was held at the Badlands Tactical Training Faculty in Grandfield Oklahoma. There were a total of 24 teams at the match. The teams were made up of former Military snipers, Civilian shooters, SWAT Snipers and a team from the Israel Defense Force. SFC Carpentier and SPC Donaldson finished 4th team in the match. In the individual standing, SFC Carpentier finished 11th and SPC Donaldson finished 15th out of 48 shooters.

The match tested the shooters Marksmanship skills and Field craft skills. On the marksmanship part, the teams shot from 100 yards all the way out to 1000 yards. They did cold bore shots, speed drills, shot movers, shot from different positions, shot targets at unknown distances, shot at night and also did some pistol shooting. As for the Field Craft, they did a KIM’S game, Stalked, Range Estimate and Target Detection.
