Texas is Top Gun in the US Army

The TXMF rifle team came out number one at the 2009 US Army Small Arms Championship. Members of the team were MAJ James Crady III, 2LT Robert Lee, 1SG Shawn Clary and SGT Cris Green. They competed against the top marksmanship teams in the US Army. In addition to winning the team championship, 1SG Clary came up number one in five individual competitions and SGT Green took first in two individual competitions. These competitions are battle focused and include rifle and pistol competition. 1SG Clary and SGT Green were also members of the top marksmanship team at the 2008 Winston P. Wilson Small Arms Sustainment Training Event Championships.
